There is a long list of hair products we love, but not all of them are ones we wouldn’t dare forget to pack for a trip. Forgetting to stash them in our carry-on could easily ruin any trip. We were curious what those coveted products were for some of our favorite people—so…we asked. This is Baggage Claim!

As the co-founder of hair care brand Jupiter, Alexa Adler knows a thing or two about caring for your hair and scalp. While many of us may maintain a regular hair care routine at home, that often goes out the window when we travel. We forget our favorite products, get too wrapped up in our vacation we forget to properly care for our hair and scalp, or we simply want to take time off from such a regimented routine. But caring for our hair and scalp is of the utmost importance, even when we’re traveling. To know how to best maintain our hair and beauty routine while jet-setting across the globe, we reached out to Adler to discover the products she never travels without.

“This is my favorite SPF. It feels super light and doesn’t have that ‘sunscreen’ smell. I use it daily to protect my skin and keep it moisturized.”

“My ride or die product, I keep a tube with me when traveling for a quick assist. A few swipes can help quickly manage and style my brows.”

“I tend to wash my hair less when traveling so I love to use our Serum to keep my scalp refreshed and flake-free in between washes. Truly a scalp savior.”

“My go-to for keeping my lips moisturized in the air and on the ground. Flights leave my lips so chapped and dry so I try to apply throughout. Plus, mini versions for travel are so cute.”

“I use this to keep my skin dewy and protected (SPF 40). Nothing not to love about this clean formula.”

“I consider staying hydrated a major part of my beauty routine. It’s important for your skin, and that includes your scalp. I love traveling with my Takeya, I fill it up on the go and it keeps my water chilled.”

“I keep these cleansing wipes with me when I travel as a makeup remover, facial cleanser, overall refresher, you name it. First thing I do when I unpack is a quick cleanse to reset. They are super gentle on my skin and don’t leave behind any residue like a lot of facial wipes do.”

“I take a travel size of this gentle cleanser with me on trips. I love that it doesn’t strip my skin and leaves my face feeling moisturized after cleansing.”

“Since I try to wash my hair less frequently when I travel, I pack my scalp brush to exfoliate my scalp before I actually do shampoo. It’s super important to clear your scalp of buildup before cleansing, especially if it’s been a bit since your last wash day. Not to mention, it’s a great way to instantly relax…we’ve all had that stressful travel moment.”

My hair has been on point thanks to these.
